Poem: Limitless

Here is a poem that I wrote recently. The poem outlines how ones own mind is the limit to a capable person’s achievement. The purpose is to say that there is literally no limit, except for the one’s we enforce on ourselves.

Below is the gist of the poem. I do hope yo enjoy reading it and I am looking forward for your feedback.

For a bird, soaring high in the sky, the end of sky is the limit

For a Lamp glowing in the dark, only the first rays of sun is it’s limit

For wind, the limit is the corner of earth (so essentially limitless)

For a river that quenches the thirst of civilizations, the confluence into an ocean is its limit/destiny (kshara is saltiness)

For a spiritual person , who spends his life in the praise of lord, his destiny/limit is salvation

For a capable person, whose heart is in the right place, there is nothing that can stop him, except for his strong will

When I shared this poem to Shri. Bhujang Rao of Banashankari, within 10 minutes, he sung this into a song and shared it with me. My happiness knew no bounds listening to the poem come to life with this rendition. Thank You Shri. Bhujang Rao. Here is the rendition.
