Retail Store Feedback System – Happy Buyer

The assignment was to perform a value proposition analysis for an already existing product called “KudozNow” – a feedback, recognition app. The initial target persona for this product was employees.

Keeping in mind that the product was already built, and imposing a constraint that the product shouldn’t be changed much and also the fact that the makers of the product did not make much strides in selling the product to the target segment, we set out to find if there is a problem-solution fit and a product market fit.

We kept the product benefits constant and attempted to find if we can retro-fit the product to any other segment. We explored about 6 other segments and then finally arrived at the feedback system for a retail store set up. The analysis identifies the ‘Behaviour, Aspirations & Goals’ of a few target persona, identifies what their pains and gains are. We identify the critical hypothesis that needs to be validated before we can conclude that there is a problem-solution and a product -market fit.
